A sermon series in Luke's Gospel
Follow Me: Luke's Gospel
Luke's Gospel was given to us by God, via Luke, to give us certainty about Jesus and why we need him. Luke tells us he has collected a selection of eye witness accounts describing what people experienced when God became a man and lived on earth. He did his so that we would have certainty about Jesus and follow him.
'Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us, just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have delivered them to us, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.' Luke 1:1-4
We started going through Luke's Gospel in 2014 and spend a number of weeks each year returning to this series.
Love God, Love People
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
